About Us
Meet Jessica
My journey into the mental health field is deeply personal. As a teenager, I struggled with anxiety and depression — experiences that left me searching for answers and ways to manage my emotional well-being. Through psychotherapy, I discovered tools and techniques that helped me not only understand these challenges but also effectively manage them. This experience has shaped my approach as a therapist, allowing me to bring both empathy and a unique, client-centered perspective to my work.
With a clinical background in both adolescent and adult care, I have gained valuable experience providing cognitive, behavioral, and solution-focused therapy in various settings, including outpatient programs and inpatient care. I earned my Undergraduate Degree in English Literature and Gender Studies from Indiana University, follow by a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Wayne State University. These diverse educational backgrounds have equipped me with the unique skills to support individuals through a wide range of mental health concerns.
I’m deeply passionate about helping others develop strong mental health practices and achieve lasting, positive change. Recently, I became certified in Collaborative Divorce, which allows me to help families navigate the emotional and psychological challenges of divorce in a compassionate and constructive way.
When I'm not working with clients, I actively advocate for mental health awareness, human rights, and animal welfare — causes that I hold close to my heart.
